Dr. Lidia D. Abrams, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey  and New York, with 20 years of experience providing psychological services.  She has co-authored two books in psychology, including a textbook on Personality Theories.  She is a Fellow and Supervisor at the Albert Ellis Institute.  She has been board certified as a prescribing psychologist, with experience in making medication recommendations.  She has offices in Clifton and Jersey City.

Dr. Abrams has consulted to and provided services for the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family  Services, The New Jersey Office of Parental Representation,  the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Division of Family Services.  Dr. Abrams has been certified as an Expert Witness in Family Court.  She has successfully testified in court numerous times regarding client’s custody and visitation rights.
